About Us
Martin Williamson - Licensed Insolvency Practitioner
Our initial meeting with any prospective client will always be free. Following that meeting you may be able to resolve your difficulties without further involvement from us, having had some informal advice and pointers on what to do.
How do we help?
We prefer to keep our advice as simple as possible. It is easier for everyone involved to understand what we are getting at and by keeping the solution as simple as possible there are less things that can go wrong!
Every big problem can be broken down into smaller ones which can be more easily dealt with:

We will always approach matters in a sympathetic way, but we will also be very clear and direct about what the problem is and how to solve it. There are occasions when our clients do not like what we tell them: part of our role is to inform clients of what they should know, not what they would prefer to know.
“...there is always a solution, no matter how desperate the situation is…”
Company Background
DSi Services was started in July 2002 by Martin Williamson as an independent insolvency practice specialising in business recovery and insolvency services. It changed its name to “Insolvency Practitioners Direct Limited” from October 2009. As this is a bit of mouthful, we are generally known as “ipd”!
Our clients range from ordinary working people struggling with credit cards and loans through to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Whilst our primary business client is in the sub-£5million turnover bracket, we are able to provide advice to all sizes of clients ranging from family-run companies, SME’s and large multi-million pound groups of companies.
As a sole practitioner, I work on a strictly one-to-one basis with our clients so they have direct access to me and my experience, with no other staff to get between us! Our aim is to provide a solution to resolve financial difficulties in a simple, efficient and direct way: the sooner we are contacted to help with those difficulties, the more we can do to help.
